he's been floating up there as my icon for months, but i only just now got him finished!!! until this evening, the tree in the middle and everything to the right of it was blank. i think i did a good nights work, yes? for the record, my aunt asked me to draw this. if anyone so desires one themselves, feel free to ask.

i gotta say, i love how that little fox came out. LOOK HOW HAPPY HE IS TO BE IN THAT TREE!!! *squeeeee* by the way, did i ever mention i love fluffy tails? cuz i do, and i was in fluffy tail HEAVEN with this guy! so kawaii! so yes, i love the little fox. and i really hated doing the tree in the middle, but i think it was super beneficial to me. i figured out a good technique to drawing it since there was no way i could draw it just like the picture. so, now i should be able to draw up a tree trunk any time i feel like it! i think this is my favorite of the three gray paper studies i did so far. im still not sure if i am right in calling them studies... if i am not, tell me.

there is one thing i absolutly hate about it. i wish OH HOW I WISH I HAD LEFT OUT THAT SHADOW CUTTING RIGHT ACROSS HIM!!! it doesnt quite ruin the picture, but damn, IT BUGS THE HELL OUT OF ME!!!
